Harbourview Hotel macau is a new hotel that opened in Feb 2015. This uniqueexperience combines historic charm and modern elegance.
This wonderfulhotel boasts a sophisticated and exquisite design based on 18th centuryPrague. At the reception, you see paintings of 18th century Pragueand straight away, you are transported into a different world.
The room offersstellar value. Being a new hotel, everything in the room is new.Decorated in pale, soothing hues, the room is beautiful and relaxing. Theroom is also in European style like the rest of the hotel. Thinkpatterned fabric and ornate furniture. Usually, I would have found fauxEuropean designs kitschy but here, it was elegant.
The bed is areal joy. Crisp and clean, the sheets sport a faint broad strip patternand they feel like they have a high thread count, just like the best ofsheets. The pillows are thick and heavy. I feel so pampered andcocooned in this bed. There are around 30 channels on the television, a mixtureof local and cable channels. The best part is, the TV is 40 inches while mosthotels offer only 32 inches. I was most impressed that they have correctlyinvested into USB charging ports. Thank god they understand the needs ofthe modern traveller.
The bathroomfeatures a shower stall and a beautiful bathtub on legs. It is so rare for newhotels to have both these days, so the hotel is already superior to others.
They haveprovided luxurious L’occitane toiletries for a truly relaxing showerexperience.
You can watch TVwhile soaking in the tub as the bedroom is seperated from the bathroom by aglass window. Don’t worry, you can lower a blind for privacy.
There is onerestaurant in the hotel. Praha Restaurant’s elegant design offers an authenticEastern European atmosphere. It specialises in daily buffet andinternational a la carte menu.
